The Fort Erie Historical Museum is housed in the former Bertie Township Hall and serves as the administrative home of the Fort Erie Museum Board. Built in 1874, the township hall was designated a historic site in 1988. It once boasted a jail and even now features a vault where the township treasury was secured.

Within these locally-quarried limestone walls, we tell the stories of our lives from aboriginal societies 10,000 years ago to the present.

The Historical Museum is located at 402 Ridge Road in the village of Ridgeway, a community within the Town of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada • 905-894-5322

The Historical Museum is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm during the off-season, seven days a week from May to September.
